Licensing Information

Property IQ (FSP1005285) is a Financial Advice Provider (FAP), licensed and regulated by the Financial Markets Authority to offer financial advice.

Nature and Scope of Advice

We specialise in financial advice on:

  • Property Investment
  • KiwiSaver
  • Managed Funds
  • Investment Planning
  • Financial Planning
  • Cashflow Management
  • Retirement Planning

When advising on property investment, we are independent of any specific provider, builder, developer, or real estate agent, giving us access to a wide range of options across New Zealand.

For KiwiSaver, we provide advice specifically for the Generate KiwiSaver scheme.

Fees and Expenses

We may charge the following fees for financial advice:

  • an initial advice fee for the time involved in meeting a client, obtaining all necessary information, and preparing and presenting a financial strategy plan;
  • an ongoing financial advice fee for the provision of ongoing financial advice services; and
  • undertaking a specific assignment, for which an agreed consultancy fee may be charged.

An estimate of fees for any particular engagement can be provided, and any fees for advice will be agreed to in advance.

Conflicts of Interest and Commissions

Property IQ and Amy Po-Ching receive commissions from the product providers we work with. Full commission details will be provided after we understand your needs.

To ensure our advice is always in your best interest:

  • We follow a structured advice process based on your goals and circumstances.
  • Our advisers receive annual training on managing conflicts of interest.
  • We maintain registers of conflicts of interest, gifts, and incentives, which are regularly monitored and reviewed.
  • We conduct an independent Compliance Assurance Review annually, carried out by Strategi.
